Frequently Asked Questions about Franchising with NRgize.
How Long does it take to open my NRgize?
The average time between site selection and opening date is 60 – 90 days. Construction and other city and department permits will effect the actual pre-opening time.
What DOES IT COST TO OPEN AN NRgize?
The initial Franchise Fee is $30,000 plus the cost to build the store. The investment varies by location. NRgize collects a Royalty Fee equal to the greater of 6% of the total gross sales, or $150 per week. The monthly Advertising Fee is equal to the greater of .5% of the gross sales.
What is a “turn-key” package?
“Turn-key” refers to having all of your pre-opening and construction details completed and included in the purchase of the business. The turn-key package includes the Franchise Fee, any deposits and/or construction fees payable to the landlord, architectural services, contractor fees, and the fixtures and equipment – even your cash register. A turn-key location is typically inside of a fitness club and costs will vary per location.
Where will I train and for how long?
The extensive NRgize training course includes 5 days of classroom training at KTEC, Kahala Training and Education Center, which is held at Kahala Corp’s Scottsdale offices. When your new NRgize location is ready to open, we will provide another 5 full days of in-store training with an NRgize Store Opening Trainer.
Are all NRgize businesses located inside of a health club?
No. While NRgize has master lease agreements for specific health clubs, the brand is equally suitable for regional malls, business parks, and some non-traditional venues.
