Steps to Becoming a Franchisee

Process and Timeline

A lot of time and hard work go into opening a restaurant. That's why we provide you with a talented support team and a highly efficient opening process to set you up for success before you even serve your first customer. On average, it could take five to twelve months from the time you begin your journey until the day you open your doors. Below is an outline of the various steps you will encounter along the way.

Contact Us

Start the process, contact us at franchising@kahalamgmt.com. An NrGize representative will respond to your inquiry to go over initial questions you have about the brand. If we mutually agree that we’re a good fit for each other, we will send you an NrGize Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD). After we receive your signed acknowledgement of the UFDD receipt, you can begin the in-depth discovery process of owning your own NrGize Lifestyle Cafe™.

Sign Your Franchise Agreement

Engage in further learning opportunities with NrGize's franchise development team. Conversations with your designated NrGize representative will be essential to your learning process. Validation calls to franchisees and visiting existing stores will also be beneficial. Upon mutual approval to move forward as a new NrGize owner, you will sign a franchise agreement.

Secure Your Location

Finding a premier location for the store is essential for success. With help from a member of our real estate team, an authorized broker or your designated regional NrGize representative, we provide assistance in finding and selecting a great location for your store.

Build & Outfit Your Store

With the help of your designated NrGize representative, the build-out process begins, including site plan and design specifications. NrGize works with industry leaders to design and build your store, ensuring that each location matches the established brand identity. Your designated NrGize representative will assist with any build-out/design questions you may have.

Open Your Store

To maximize the grand opening for your location, we recommend working with your designated NrGize representative to plan training four to six weeks prior to your grand opening. As we mentioned earlier, your training will include a five day course at KTEC, as well as an additional 16 hours of in-store training.

Throughout the entire opening process you will be in constant contact with your designated NrGize representative. Together you'll work through a checklist from the time you sign your franchise agreement to the time you open your doors to your first customers.
